Flexible Spending Account (FSAs)

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) let you set aside tax-free dollars, subject to IRS limits, to pay for a wide range of out-of-pocket health care expenses. You can use this money to reimburse you and eligible dependents for eligible expenses you incur in the FSA calendar year.

You may participate in the Health Care FSA even if you do not elect coverage under one of the Medical plans. If you enroll in the HSA Medical plan, which is a high deductible health plan, you're only eligible to participate in the Limited Purpose FSA, which covers out-of-pocket dental and vision expenses.

Health Care FSA — Maximum contribution amount for 2025 is $3,300.

Limited Purpose FSA — Maximum contribution amount for 2025 is $3,330. Any money above $500 in your account at the end of the plan year will be forfeited.

Dependent Care FSA —$5,000 per plan year ($2,500 if married and filing separately). The account is NOT pre-funded, meaning that after you file a claim, you may only receive reimbursement for amounts that are currently in the account.
